Domestic Violence Intervention Treatment (DVIT)
Clarity is certified to offer Domestic Violence Intervention Treatment by the State of Washington. Intimate partner violence is addressed through programs that are mandated by the court, but brings warmth and fun to the environment so clients have a safe and nurturing place to grow and learn. With a focus on the victim’s safety, our aim in delivering domestic violence assistance is to make the community safer.

While this program is for mostly court mandated clients, we believe that change and growth comes from a nonjudgemental and compassionate presence. Executive Director Kelly Frost, is our DVIT provider and brings his personal experience into the clinical setting. Kelly believes that modeling kindness and acceptance in the clinical atmosphere can help strengthen these traits for our DV clients; while they learn valuable skills such as non-violent communication, mindfulness skills, trauma resolution, and most importantly an ability to accept responsibility and change unwanted behaviors.
