Group Therapy

Clarity offers a range of group therapy services targeted toward both Substance Use and Mental health Concerns. Group therapy offers a unique therapeutic experience where members are able to provide support, feel less alone in their jounrey and practice valuable skills in real time. Please inquire with our staff if you are interested in any of the group therapy products. 

Intensive Outpatient (IOP) MON WED FRI 5:30 - 7:30pm
  • 3x per week group contact Monday-Wednesday-Friday 5:30-8:00pm
  • Intensive Outpatient is traditionally for the person who has difficulty maintaining sobriety without strong weekly structure and support. The client may transfer directly into IOP from a residential program or start with IOP to work on establishing sobriety while remaining in your community. IOP focuses on providing the client with a valuable set of skills to establish sobriety while giving regular support through therapeutic group process multiple times weekly.
Recovery Education (Level 1) TUE 5:30 - 7:00pm
  • 1x weekly group contact Tuesday 5:30pm – 7:30pm
  • This level of care is for the client who may not be in active addiction to drugs or alcohol but who has shown troubling signs that they may develop them without intervention. This group is often where a client will be referred after a DUI or other substance related issue to learn all aspects of healthy living to divert from the onset of future addictive behaviors.
Advanced Recovery Skills (relapse prevention) THU 5:30 - 7:00pm or TUE 5:30 - 7:00PM
  • 1x weekly group contact with two different week days offered 
  • Relapse prevention is often a step down from IOP to help a client move into longer term recovery. This group relies on mindfulness training, relapse prevention skills, emotional awareness, and building skills for long term recovery. 
Mindfulness Training TUE 6:00 - 7:30pm
  • 1x weekly group contact Tuesday 6:00pm -7:30pm
  • Closed 12 week mindfulness group, focusing on building mindfulness skills for relapse prevention and overall increased wellbeing. Group sessions will include meditation during the group process, homework, and regular accountability and growth as a cohort.

Anxiety group TUE 6:00 - 7:30pm

  • This group is meant for clients struggling with generalized anxiety, phobias, and social anxiety. 
  • This group meets in person only 
LGBTQIA+ group TUE 4:30 - 6:00pm

  • This group is designed to build regular support, reslience, skills and advocacy.
